Charlbury Community Centre has an area which can be rented by take-away vans and traders. There is an electricity supply so food can be freshly prepared on location. Currently the following are available:
This year the Charlbury Community Centre has employed a team of young people, who have undertaken lots of different projects around the town, from building raised beds in people's gardens, to facilitating outdoor and indoor virtual coffee club get-togethers for seniors, and helping with activities for children. This would not have been possible without the financial support of WODC (Community Activities Grant), PF Charitable Trust and local donors. Thank you all very much!
Charlbury Town Council has generousy awarded the Thomas Gifford Trust a grant of £2,500 plus an additional £2,000 to cover some tree surgery work, which a recent survey has revealed needs doing on the Playing Close. As always this money will be used mainly for the maintenance of the Playing Close and also for Community Support and is very gratefully received in these difficult times.
