The online bookings system is now available and you can register using this link: Go to Booking Page

If you’re new to the bookings system here are a few things you need to know:
Do you enjoy a game of Scrabble? Would you like some new people to play with? We are experimenting with having some Scrabble afternoons or evenings and if it proves popular we will offer these regularly. The next session is on Tuesday 26th March 2.30-5pm. Cost only £2. In the meantime there are two Scrabble sets at the Centre, which you can use at any time for a game with friends.
Margie Glasgow has been awarded a British Empire Medal in the 2019 Honours list for her contributions to the Thomas Gifford Trust and other local charities. Margie was instrumental in driving forward the Community Centre project and we are very grateful to her. This award is truly well-deserved.
TG's cafe is now offering baked potatoes at lunch time, with a choice of fillings: cheese, baked beans (or both), tuna and sweetcorn with mayo. Why not stay for lunch after your sporting activities, or drop in for a tasty, warming lunch?
We'd love to reunite you with your possessions! Most items will be kept for 14 days. Valuables such as watches, jewellery and expensive sports equipment will be kept for 28 days. Each Wednesday between 1 - 5pm unclaimed items will be displayed in the centre and can be purchased for a nominal amount. After this, they will be given to charity.
No quiz in March as the Street Fair Quiz needs your support. Our next quiz night will be Wed 24th April, set by Alison Pritchard. The café and bar open at 7.15pm for a prompt start at 7.45pm. Priced only £5 per player, these quizzes are usually a sell-out so get your tickets soon from reception. More details here. A big thank you to Ed Fenton for hosting our January quiz.
