Bookings at Charlbury Community Centre

Please note that casual bookings (ie not ongoing or block bookings) can only be made up to 7 days in advance. Block bookings need to be made through the centre staff by calling 01608 811878 or by email at info@charlburycommunitycentre.org.uk.

The Booking and Registration Process

If you’re new to the bookings system here are a few things you need to know:

  • The booking system is handled by Legend Club Management Systems and when you go to the booking page you will be transferred to their site. You may receive confirmation emails from Legend rather than from Charlbury Community Centre.
  • Charlbury Community Centre (CCC) Registration/Membership (which are the same thing) is free, but you must be registered to book the facilities.
  • If you have already registered with the CCC at the reception desk, you will have been allocated a member number (CCC….). You can link this to the online system, so you will need to know the number – please contact reception if you don’t have it.
  • If you have not used the CCC before, select  “I haven’t registered or used this centre” and follow the instructions.
  • Online booking is only available one week ahead.
  • Bookings are confirmed by payment by credit/debit card.
  • Cancellation can be done on-line and, if eligible, you will be given a credit by the system, so you can make another booking.
  • Only classes or courses run by the centre are available to book online. Third Party courses need to be booked with the provider.
  • The “we” referred to in marketing options is the Charlbury Community Centre.
  • Tennis court bookings are chargeable (light tokens available on reception). Tennis Club members can book free tennis courts online but must first register with reception.
  • Unless stated, there is no instructor included. Should you wish to join a club or organised event, of which there are many covering these activities, then please check under the sport you are interested in here.

COME PLAY BASKETBALL!

Come join the Charlbury Bulls! Due to enormous demand, we now offer two sessions:

  • The super-popular session for secondary school-age players (over 10) is on Thursdays, at a new time of 5-6.15. Still only £3 per session. Come play with Alfie, Joe, Andy and Kit who can't wait to welcome you.
  • Our fast-paced and exciting session for adult players (recommended age 16+) is every Friday 5-6.30, £5 per session
  • There is no experience level requirement - all are welcome in both sessions!

Line Dancing … YEE-HAW!

Classes for all levels of experience Due to huge demand, Jason has added yet another Line Dancing class! Aimed at Intermediate dancers with some experience, this additional class will be held on Wednesdays from 12.15 - 2pm The existing classes on Tuesdays at 12 and Fridays at 11.30 will carry on - get in touch with Jason if you're a Beginner and you want to give it a try!

Run by its members for its members, Charlbury’s Community Workshop is here for everyone to use.

Open every week:

  • Tuesdays 9.00 - 12.30 (both rooms)
  • Wednesdays 10.00 - 12.00 (soft craft)
  • Thursdays 2.00 - 4.00 (woodwork)

Youth Club is growing!

We now offer a great and varied programme of clubs and events. Drop-in is every Friday during term time 7-9pm at the Community Centre and we have clubs throughout the week including badminton, table tennis and art .

Please get in touch with our 'Youth Ambassador' Bryanna more info or if you have ideas of your own. Bring a friend and come check it out. All secondary school age young people are welcome!'
