Charges

Booking is easy -there are three different ways:

  • In person – come in and talk to a member of staff
  • Online – click  on the tab marked “Booking” on any page to be directed to our online booking system. You will be required to register and enter some personal details the first time you book, but there is no membership fee. As this is a new venture for us all, there may be the need for some adjustments to the booking system, so we are keeping the process under review and welcome your feedback.
  • By phone – call  01608 811878

Terms and conditions for hire can be found here. By making a booking, you agree that you have read, understood and accepted our terms and conditions.

Below are the basic hourly charges for hiring various parts of Charlbury Community Centre. Regular or group bookings are subject to a discount – please contact the centre manager for details: info@charlburycommunitycentre.org.uk 01608 811878.

Sports hall (whole hall)

Casual (pay and play): £50/hr

Sports hall (per court)

Casual (pay and play): £13/hr

Thomas Gifford Room

Casual/one-off hire : £25/hr

Community Gym

£22 by standing order for unlimited access when the gym is open. Please collect a standing order form from reception.

Line Dancing … YEE-HAW!

Classes for all levels of experience Due to huge demand, Jason has added yet another Line Dancing class! Aimed at Intermediate dancers with some experience, this additional class will be held on Wednesdays from 12.15 - 2pm The existing classes on Tuesdays at 12 and Fridays at 11.30 will carry on - get in touch with Jason if you're a Beginner and you want to give it a try!

Youth Club is growing!

We now offer a great and varied programme of clubs and events. Drop-in is every Friday during term time 7-9pm at the Community Centre and we have clubs throughout the week including badminton, table tennis and art .

Please get in touch with our 'Youth Ambassador' Bryanna more info or if you have ideas of your own. Bring a friend and come check it out. All secondary school age young people are welcome!'

Open every week:

  • Tuesdays 9.00 - 12.30 (both rooms)
  • Wednesdays 10.00 - 12.00 (soft craft)
  • Thursdays 2.00 - 4.00 (woodwork)

COME PLAY BASKETBALL!

Come join the Charlbury Bulls! Due to enormous demand, we now offer two sessions:

  • The super-popular session for under 16s on Thursdays, hours 5-6 from October. Still only £3 per session. Come play with Tom, Andy and Kit who can't wait to welcome you.
  • Our fast-paced and exciting session for adult players (recommended age 16+) is every Friday 5-6, £5 per session
  • There is no experience level requirement - all are welcome in both sessions!
