Feldenkrais Classes (awareness through movement)

with Ed:

  • Free taster classes on 21st August at 1.30pm and 4th September at 12.30pm
  • After this a weekly class on Wednesdays ay 12.30pm starting on 25th September
  • Course runs for 10 weeks 25th Sept-18th Dec (excluding 9th Oct, 20th &27th Nov when there will be no class)
  • Feldenkrais is a wonderful method of mind/body connection. It is taught in hour long classes called Awareness Through Movement and as a one-to-one practice too.
  • It is a great compliment to many other activities, yoga, and pilates amongst them. The classes bring a person into a much clearer understanding of how they actually move, and offer up, over time, a new set of sensations as to how to carry out a whole range of things, from sport, to performance and simply to everyday life.
  • Cost £95 for 10 sessions. A one-off fee of £12.50 per class – but it’s best to come to all 10 if you can.
  • If you would like to find out more about Feldenkrais Method  please navigate to this website www.asenseofmovement.com  for more info or email Ed Woodall to register interest: ed@asenseofmovement.com

If you would like to set up a class or book the Thomas Gifford Room on a regular basis for a class, please contact the Community Centre staff.
