Help with schoolwork and Kids' Summer Activities

Activities for Children

Kids Summer Club (now fully booked – sorry)

Our new Youth Leader, Charlotte, and her team are offering drop off sessions for primary school aged children on three Tuesday afternoons in August, 1-5pm. They will do indoor and outdoor games and crafts. The cost is £15 for the four hours for the first child and £10 for additional siblings. We can only take 12 children for each session, so it is recommended that you book as soon as you can by ringing the centre on 01608 811878.

This is the enrolment form. You can fill it out and bring it in, or pick one up from the Community Centre – but we will need one of these for each child who attends.

The Learning Café

Charlbury Cornerstone and Community Centre are launching ‘The Learning Café’ – a community-led project to give learning support and help bridge the gap in education levels, designed to help parents and young people prepare for the future.

The Learning Café will be managed through Charlbury Community Centre and run throughout the summer holidays. Learning support will be provided for pupils in Key Stage 2 and secondary school by our YTAs (Youth Teaching Assistants) with advice from professional teachers. For more information or to book learning sessions please contact the Community Centre on 01608 811878 or email

Suggested donation per session is £3. Homemade refreshments will be available for £1.

We will comply with Covid-19 health & safety measures to facilitate safe learning.
